A tongue rolling device enables a lubrication-free and low-friction switching of the switch tongues of a railway switch – and is therefore a very sustainable product. Costly lubricating processes on slide plates and slide chairs are no longer necessary. A tongue rolling device requires little maintenance. The leaching of the lubricant into the ballast bed is prevented, thus contamination of the ballast and the subsoil.
Retrofitting existing points is easily possible.
Variable setting options for the rollers make large distances between the sleepers and roller plates possible. In addition, the changeover force to be applied by the drive is reduced by up to 50%.
